About Us

Svaren Financial Services

My name is J. Cornell Svaren. I have been an insurance agent since 1980. I have established relationships with many wonderful people through securing new clients and servicing policy holders whose former agent changed careers or retired. Many of these relationships have developed through providing life, disability and long term care insurance to meet individual needs. I am appointed with several companies so that I can offer the best methods to meet these needs.

I am a long time member of the professional organization of choice – The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. This association carries very high ethical standards which guide its members’ professional treatment of prospective clients and interaction with fellow agents.

J. Cornell Svaren, LUTCF, LTCP

I have two designations behind my name. LUTCF stands for Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow. To receive the Fellow requires many hours of extra classroom work to enhance my abilities to serve my clients. LTCP stands for Long Term Care Professional which also requires additional training in the area of assisting people in planning for long term care. These credentials also allow me the opportunity to prepare other agents to present LTC to existing and prospective clients.

I’m also involved in church and community activities. Prior to becoming an insurance agent, I taught choral music in the Fergus Falls Public Schools for 21 years. My teaching experience has greatly enhanced my ability to effectively teach people about solutions to various financial problems.
